On November 23, the 31st annual theatre awards ceremony "Spēlmaņu nakts" took place. The event is organised by the Latvian Theatre Employees' Union and evaluates the theatre season in state and municipal theatres, as well as in independent theatres, and also presents awards for the season's achievements and "For Lifetime Contribution to the Performing Arts". This year, the important award "For Lifetime Contribution to the Performing Arts" was presented to actress Ilze Vazdika, whom we are also proud to call BENU Aptieka's Honorary Senior.
We are delighted and congratulate the outstanding actress Ilze Vazdika on this high award and thank her for her unforgettable contribution to the history of Latvian theatre and culture.
