We are always on the lookout for future colleagues: those talented young individuals who can help us become an even better company. In Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania we arrange internships and provide scholarships for promising students in different areas of service and positions. During these internships, students are introduced to our company, work closely with the best professionals and get involved in real-life projects and learn more about their potential future profession.
At Tamro Baltics, we provide students with the possibility to do an internship both at BENU pharmacies as well as at Tamro’s headquarters. We are always taking applications for internship positions. Preferred candidates must be smart, poise, have excellent communication skills both written and oral and must be goal oriented with minimal supervision.
Daniel Hartschenko from Germany, intern in IT department Tamro Estonia
"I am grateful that Tamro Baltics granted me the opportunity to not only experience Estonia as a traveler but as a part of its economy. I am grateful that the company invited me to take a look into the pharmaceutical market first hand, learning about its operational processes in detail and the people keeping the business up and running. I do consider myself very lucky that I had the chance to work in a field of high personal interest which, without doubt, manifested my desire to invest future time and effort into the topics: Business Intelligence, Networking and Knowledge Management. Participating in Tallinn’s daily life, exploring Estonia, its culture and its surroundings while partaking in my desired internship made me grow personally as well as professionally and I can only recommend Tamro Baltics and Estonia as your next destination if you want to put your finger on the pulse of technology and pharmaceutics."
Pharmacy student Katrin Sulger made most of her internship opportunity at Tamro Estonia.
Katrin had practiced at the Category department in August, 2015. She is now on her second year course, therefore she has two more years to go to become a pharmacist. She’s committed to her studies though it takes an extra effort from her studying full time, in addition to her project-based job, as well as two children and a household. Katrin was very happy with the experience and wishes to return next summer. Meanwhile, we hope to welcome her back in one of our pharmacies as an intern too!
Tamro Baltics, as a part of PHOENIX group, also provides the possibility for interns of the Corporation to experience internships abroad. Tamro yearly accepts interns from the pharmaceutical field: both pharmacists and assistants, and contributes to their professional and personal development. We are welcoming students from the ERASMUS program.
