An active lifestyle and strong team spirit are part of everyday life at BENU Aptieka and Tamro Latvia - both at work and beyond it.
That is why, on May 16 and 17, when the streets of Riga filled with thousands of determined runners during the Rimi Riga Marathon, the BENU-Tamro team once again proudly joined the event across all race distances - with energy, motivation and true team spirit.
For many colleagues, participation in the marathon has become a meaningful tradition and a way to strengthen team connections outside the workplace.
Elīna Jokuma, Head of Automation Solutions Baltics at Tamro, joined the BENU-Tamro team for the fourth time this year, completing the 10 km distance.
“Together with colleagues who also enjoy running, we regularly encourage each other, share ideas and take part in different activity challenges throughout the year.”
Vitālijs Bočkāns-Lendzovs, Head of Supply Chain at Tamro, also participated for the fourth consecutive year.
“I appreciate that the company promotes an active and healthy lifestyle. Participating in the BENU-Tamro team is a way to support and represent the company beyond everyday work.”
For Vitālijs, the marathon has also become a meaningful family tradition, with one or two of his sons joining the event every year.
This year marked the first participation in the BENU-Tamro team for Artūrs Kančs, Head of Product Representation at Tamro, who took on the challenge of the full marathon distance - 42.195 km.
“You should choose an activity that you genuinely enjoy. Don’t force yourself - doing what you like makes staying active much easier.”
